School is always a important piece of coexistence and activity in the villages and so it was from 1.959 in Pobladura de las Regueras. How was the original building rehabilitated?

Tourism, Gastronomy, Sport and Nature are the current hallmarks of the new facilities, on the strengths of the industrial past of the territory and a town integrated in the mountain.

60 years later… the building once again has the nobility that it once had

100% involved in local development generating activity, population and employment.

How did you get rehabilitated

The original building included a school plus teacher housing and everything was refurbished: new design, top quality and “keeping the original essence” starting from the main facade, spatial distribution, the roof, etc.

ACCOMMODATION, RESTORATION and TRAINING with a large classroom and multipurpose spaces: The Old School is now a building adaptable to any project.

History and Present

After 40 years of age, since the year 2.000, Due to the closure of mining and depopulation, schools were left without children, which produced closures and more than 10 years without school use in the building.

In 2.016, the original School was demolished for rehabilitation. Everything was contracted locally, to contribute to the economy of the area. In 2.018 was opened to the public.
